We have some wonderful news about three of our current and former students from Nicaragua and Nepal. This is the kind of news that makes us very happy!
It’s all about our Students. In other parts of the world, girls and young women need assistance in order to attend school. We support these students and their individual efforts to get an education to improve their lives, and the lives of their families and local communities.
Hello everyone, it has been a very long time since our last update and, as you might imagine, a lot of very newsworthy things have happened with our students!
Happy Holidays, indeed! I just got home from Nicaragua, where I attended three high school graduations, visited with current and former scholarship recipients (and one potential new recipient!), and celebrated with almost all our students past and present.
Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends—however you like to celebrate it. There’s some exciting news from One New Education, and I wanted to let you all know about it before you get fully into your shopping frenzy for the holidays.
Hello everyone, a few months ago we mentioned that we have accepted a new student from Guatemala: Loyda Elizabeth Lopez Cabrera. We wanted to take the time to properly introduce you now and, of course, there is more information on her page.
Hello everyone, it has been a little while since you’ve heard from us, since everyone has been busy trying to catch up from the last year of no work and lots of worry. We have loads of news for you, so you’ll be hearing from us more consistently for a while, but we wanted to start with the news of our students in Tanzania.
Hello everyone, you haven’t heard from us lately because our website has been under redesign. Our old website worked pretty well, but it was 10 years old, and being such a graphics-heavy site meant that it sometimes didn’t work very quickly.
Happy February, everyone! The days do go by, don’t they? Our girls in Nicaragua start school this month, and for three of them, it will be their last year of secondary school, so there is a little excitement in the air. But we’d like to tell you about something that has just made our hearts all mushy with happiness.
