This is the season for wonderful benefits for girls’ education! Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy is having another fundraiser on March 8 to benefit ONE and the Malala Fund (www.malalafund.org). This event is bound to be amazing. Not only will they be showing Girl Rising, a fantastic independent film about the importance of educating girls in developing countries, but they will be offering up chairs painted by local artists and students for auction to raise money for both organizations. The date is March 8 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Coconino Center for the Arts in Flagstaff. We sure hope you can make it! Below are the press release and poster for more information.
