It’s that time again: on September 21, we will hold our Third Annual Family Dance Party in Flagstaff. This year brings back Robert Reninger, Vusi Shibambo and Friends, and the Flagstaff Latin Dance Collective. We’re also welcoming three members of Grupo Tlaloc de Tucson; they’ll be performing and teaching traditional Aztec dances. As ever, local businesses here in Flagstaff have been incredibly generous, and we’ll have lots of fun raffle prizes, great snack food to eat, and tons of fun dancing and music. Also this year, art and dance students from the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy are going to come paint faces, help kids make cards and crafts, and teach some cool African dance steps.

So if you live in Flagstaff, mark the date down! And if you’re not in Flagstaff: consider coming! It’s a great time of year to be up in the high country; you’ll help raise money for a great cause, and you’ll have a blast doing it!
