Letter from Klaudina Flores

Mar 26, 2012 | Students

Hello everyone, this week’s post is a letter from Klaudina Flores in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She sent this just as Christa was leaving for Mexico, so we couldn’t get it up till now. Hope you enjoy it, and thanks again!

Translation:

Hi! Thank you for all you have done for me. I am super happy because I have finished my first level (primary school). I am also happy because in secondary school they assigned us the same teacher as in primary. He makes classes fun. I hope that later I don’t get another teacher who is very boring. My mother and I are very well. I began classes in the English school (IHCI). My fellow students are all strangers, but I am already getting used to it. It’s very hot and the uniform is very hot, but I like it. I am doing very well in class. I think it is a little difficult, but I do what I can and make an effort to apply myself. My mother says that is all right. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be better.

  1. What a good letter! Nice way to start a day with that in the mail. Thanks for sharing,

  2. I have just reread Klaudina’s letter and about the younger girl who must take care of her grandmother rather than attend school. Hopefully she will still have an opportunity to someday benefit from the education that One New Education offers. My check is in the mail — really!!! Rayne
