Happy New Year, everyone! We have been receiving report cards, letters and photos from our girls, whether for the middle of the year or the end of the year, and it’s been wonderful to see their progress. Here are a few highlights:

• All our girls in Nicaragua, plus Klaudina in Honduras, have passed their year and have been promoted to the next level! Karina will be starting her LAST year of high school in February!
• Camila is settled beautifully into her new school in Tegucigalpa, and apparently loves it!
• Naume and Rebecca have passed their year in Uganda, and we received some wonderful photos of them at the year-end concert. Check out their pages!
• Jeni A, Winnie and Husna have passed their exams in Tanzania and will advance to the next grade. Husna’s grades have improved tremendously now that she and her family don’t have to worry about her being taken out of school for non-payment of her fees.

We could not be prouder of all of our girls and we will keep you posted as we receive more news and photos.

We are planning another fundraiser for February 21 in Flagstaff, so mark the date! We’ll let you know more as plans take shape.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, passed the word and helped us keep our beautiful girls in school. Christa will be heading to Honduras and Nicaragua for a visit at the end of January, so there will be lots more photos coming!
