Guatemala! And More News…
Board members Janeece, Leslie, and Christa accompanied a group of high school juniors and seniors from Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy to Guatemala in February to do art and service projects with communities, and to meet our current and former scholarship recipients there. We are so proud of her, and even prouder because she has every intention of continuing on to college to become a teacher. She wants to attend Saturday classes in Esteli, a town about 1.5 hours away from El Sauce. We are simply over the moon about her plans and will work to help her as much as possible.
It’s Giving Tuesday!
