These are posts and information related to our organization, One New Education. To help our students we have an annual fundraiser in the spring, and travel often to their homes. We also share interesting stories about our volunteers and board members.
What a strange and challenging year this has been, for everyone around the world. We know a lot of people are glad to see this one disappear in the rear view mirror, but there have been some positive things that have come out of the year for One New Education and our girls.
We have added a new page to the website: Annual Fundraiser. You can find it on the navigation bar at the top of the home page. We wanted to add this so people can always have information about the annual fundraiser that we hold in the end of February or the beginning of March. Every year the page will change, based on that year’s fundraiser.
Our 2019 year end report is up on our Annual Reports page, so please check that out when you have a chance. It was a big year and we’re excited to tell you about it!

Happy New Year, everyone! We received a wonderful New Year's present: news about all the girls in Tanzania. And it's such happy news! The National Exam results just came out. Greg and Shannon got news from the Jenis and Winnie about their scores, and all of them did...
Meghan and Christa just returned from a wonderful, whirlwind trip to Nicaragua, where we attended the high school graduation of Michel, ONE’s third graduate! Michel has been with ONE for five years, all of her high school career, and she was simply glowing throughout the day. We are so proud of her, and even prouder because she has every intention of continuing on to college to become a teacher. She wants to attend Saturday classes in Esteli, a town about 1.5 hours away from El Sauce. We are simply over the moon about her plans and will work to help her as much as possible.
